Un secreto a voces
Yo creo que de no haberse alargado lo de los Primal y su gira, esto hubiera sido en 2011.
La duda es... Que festival se los llevara?
Cita:Stone Roses to reform for 2012
Clash has learned that there is to be a major announcement next week regarding the four original members of Manchester’s indie legends The Stone Roses. Though they said it would never happen, Clash sources reveal a renowned promoter has finally persuaded the tenacious individuals to put their differences aside and reunite for 2012.
Following their glorious self-titled debut album in 1989, and the difficult ‘The Second Coming’ five years later, The Stone Roses dissolved as drummer Reni then guitarist John Squire departed. Since then, rumours have emerged at regular intervals - the last being in April of this year, when the band convened for bassist Mani’s mum’s funeral - that they were getting back together, but each member has always strenuously denied it. Lead singer Ian Brown pursued a successful solo career, and thus found no need to resurrect his former group. Mani, meanwhile, was recruited to anchor the low-end for Primal Scream.
However, as news reaches Clash of next week’s press conference, it would appear that wounds may have been healed, and reasons found why the Roses’ legacy should continue. Though no official statement has yet been made to verify the news, as the story develops - or, indeed IF it does - stay tuned to Clash for further news...
